Interest-free instalments through Tabby or Mamo (AED 300 service charge) can spread the cost of larger treatment. ## Your first visit Your first appointment is a full assessment rather than a rushed look: 1. **History.** Your medical and dental history, any concerns and what you would like from your care. 2. **Examination.** Teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, with X-rays only where they will change the decision. 3. **Clean.** A professional scale and polish, with practical advice for your routine. 4. **Your plan.** A clear explanation of what we found, what is urgent and what is optional, with a written estimate. New patients are welcome without a referral, and our team speaks English, Hindi, Urdu and conversational Arabic. If you have recently moved to Dubai and have records from a previous dentist, bring what you have and we will work from it. ## How often should you have a check-up? Most adults and children do well with a check-up and clean every six months. Some people need more frequent hygiene visits, for example during orthodontic treatment, with implants, during pregnancy or with a history of gum disease. Others with very low risk can go a little longer. We recommend an interval based on your mouth, not a fixed rule. ## Children’s dentistry in the same clinic We recommend a child’s first dental visit by their first birthday, or when the first teeth appear, so the clinic feels familiar long before anything needs doing. Early visits are short and friendly. As children grow, we monitor the adult teeth coming through, seal the molars most likely to decay and flag orthodontic issues early, when they are simpler to correct. That is usually what decides whether a family keeps up with six-monthly check-ups. Most adults and children benefit from a check-up and clean every six months. Book your child's first visit when the first tooth appears, or by their first birthday. Early, gentle visits help children feel comfortable and let us spot problems early. ### What happens at a check-up and clean? Your dentist examines your teeth, gums and bite, checks for signs of decay and gum disease, and takes X-rays only when they are needed. We then remove plaque and tartar and polish your teeth, and we explain anything that needs attention. ### Can we book appointments for the whole family together? Yes. Ask our reception team for back-to-back appointments so parents and children can be seen on the same visit, including evenings and weekends. ### Do you accept dental insurance? We don't offer direct billing. You pay at the clinic, and we complete your insurance claim form and provide the reports your insurer needs, so claiming back is straightforward.
