Dr Urmi Mazumder is a specialist orthodontist with a precise, conservative approach and a keen eye for facial harmony. She combines current orthodontic techniques with a calm, considered manner that puts each patient’s comfort first.
After her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, Dr Urmi completed a Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at Malmö University in Sweden. That training covers the full range of cases, from simple crowding to complex jaw discrepancies.
She plans each treatment around the patient’s anatomy, goals and lifestyle, choosing from fixed braces, self-ligating Damon braces, temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and clear aligners such as Invisalign. Children, teenagers and adults are all welcome: see orthodontics and braces.
Dr Urmi speaks English, Hindi and Bengali, and takes time to make sure every patient understands their options before treatment begins.
